SJSU With Purpose

With Purpose is a youth and community-led movement dedicated to making sure kids with cancer have access to safe and effective treatment options. Its mission is to advocate for families affected by childhood cancer, empower youth and community leaders to take action and invest in ground-breaking initiatives that remove the barriers to advancing treatment for childhood cancer. With Purpose attacks three distinct pain points in the complex problem of advancing treatment for kids with cancer and; lack of funding for research, lack of "proof of concept" research, lack of profitability for pharmaceutical companies. With Purpose uses these points to educate and raise awareness to community youth of pediatric cancer and in turn are giving families affected by pediatric cancer hope and support.
